Scale Payments is a merchant services and payment processing company headquartered in New Jersey, providing credit card processing, point-of-sale systems, and related services to small and mid-sized businesses across the United States.

We collect information you provide directly — name, business name, phone, and email — when you request a rate quote or apply for an account. We also collect information automatically through our website (IP address, browser type, pages visited).

For active merchants, we collect transaction data necessary to process payments, including card data tokenized in compliance with PCI-DSS.

We use information to provide and improve our services, communicate with you, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and (with your consent) send marketing communications. We do not sell personal information.

We share information with card networks, banks, and processors required to settle your transactions; with vendors providing services on our behalf under confidentiality agreements; and when legally required (subpoena, court order, regulatory request).

We maintain PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and restrict access to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure — but we treat your data the way we'd want our own treated.
