Accessibility Statement
Effective date: May 1, 2025
Scale Payments is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
1.Our Commitment
We believe everyone should have access to our services regardless of ability. We continuously work to improve accessibility and welcome feedback to help us do better.
2.WCAG 2.1 AA Standards
Our website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We test against these standards as part of our development process.
3.Implemented Features
Our site includes semantic HTML, keyboard-only navigation support, sufficient color contrast, descriptive link text, alternative text for images, ARIA landmarks, and a focus-visible state on all interactive elements.
4.Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our site is tested with current versions of JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack screen readers across major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
5.Known Limitations
Some legacy content and third-party embedded widgets may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively addressing these and welcome reports of specific issues.
6.Feedback & Contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email accessibility@scalepayments.com or call 718-702-0186. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
7.Alternative Access
If you cannot access content on our website, we will provide the information in an alternative format on request — email, large print, or over the phone with a representative.
8.Third-Party Content
Some content (videos, embedded forms, payment widgets) is provided by third parties. We work with partners that share our accessibility commitments, but we cannot guarantee third-party content fully complies.
9.Formal Complaints
If you wish to file a formal complaint, please email accessibility@scalepayments.com with details of the barrier encountered. We treat all complaints confidentially and will respond with next steps within 5 business days.
10.Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We conduct quarterly audits, train our developers in inclusive design, and prioritize accessibility fixes alongside new features.
